+1 st on either side for a slip-stitch border

I also switched the 2/3 cables for equivalent 2/1/2 cables. This was originally a mistake, but it makes more sense to me because you have one cable crossing over another cable and one background stitch.

No more lace and cables. I found the stitch pattern seriously annoying - I kept getting off and having to tink back.

The shawl used all but 5g of the two skeins of yarn - I had to unravel the swatch for the last row and the bind-off.
