Started last night while watching “The Holiday” - a Christmas tradition in my house - and got almost the entire ribbed band done by the end of the movie :-).

I absolutely LOVE the personal note Nina includes in her patterns. It creates such a wonderful sense of connection to her as a designer and makes the gift-able knit, extra special.

Such a quick knit, even for a slow knitter like me. I finished the ribbing and pattern detail last night and began the decrease to crown.

Oh & I had dad try it on this morning & it fits perfectly! Covers all parts of the earlobes just like he wanted :-).

Slightly big after washing due to the organic cotton stretch. This one is headed off to the homeless shelter for a Christmas gift :-)
