Knit bottom ribbing with a size 8; didn’t size down. Did 2 extra sets of hip increases.

Finished except for ends, buttons, blocking. Not thrilled with the button band but this is my fault. I slipped stitches at the start of rows automatically. That makes it tough to pick up properly. If I can’t block them straighter I’ll re-do.

Done! So happy with this. Can’t wait to show it off.

11 buttons. I could have had less. Button band isn’t perfect and button placement at top not perfect either but definitely close enough.

Yarn is a wee bit scratchy which means I’ll need a tshirt under but that’s fine.

Could have made the size larger - just a touch tight in the bust. Bloomed a little on blocking and will likely stretch. Glad I added the extra increases and length.
