Wanted to give toe-ups a whirl. Ultimately, I have now decided that I am not a toe up knitting fan.

The stitch count on these seemed too narrow in the foot, and too wide in the leg. I increased the foot size (64 stitches) and tried the recommended 72 for the leg, but it was way too big and floppy. I frogged and am now trying again with 66 leg which worked out much better.

Love the yarn, like the knitting, pattern is a little hard to decipher…..

The socks fit fine, but the pattern was a little fuzzy. I understood what the designer was saying, but I couldn’t make it work for me. If I had, had my wits about me I would have just gone down a needle size to knit the leg at 72 stitches, but I probably would still have been knitting these things.
