Freely adapted, as usual, from Jean Greenhowe’s Little Gift Dolls basic pattern. The headpieces are 4-stitch i-cord worked round a long pipecleaner, the ends of which are then poked into the head; earpieces and ‘top-knot’ are more i-cord in short lengths (5-stitch for the top, 4-stitch for ears) wrapped round the junctions.

I made a circular chest-piece for one and a rectangular one for the other, to reflect ahem the changing types of Cybermen over the years. Both have basic trim of ‘cast on x stitches, cast off’ strips. The faces were pulled in with a few stitches; the eyes, naturally, have added ‘teardrops’!

The Cybermat was a quick and dirty teardrop shape, with a couple of purl ridges, and short strands knotted in along the sides and cut to length. The eyes are knots with black dots on them!
