Notes

13 Sept: Ended up ripping out the continental version, re-knit with yarn held in right hand like I usually do, but I tried not to be too tight and Success! I have a hat I can wear!
10 Sept: Started on the 1st, I was almost finished when I realised that my tension was too tight (again!). I usually knit with the yarn in held in my right hand, and I usually knit very tightly. So I decided I was fed up with always knitting too tightly, and going up a needle doesn’t really help, since I am knitting too tightly in the first place, the result is kind of streteched and hole-y. I am using this project to re-learn to knit continental. I taught myself a few years ago, but gave up on purling continental. This project has equal amounts knit and purl, so it’s an ideal way for me to practice learn continental. Hopefully my knitting won’t be so tight.
