10 single crochet in magic ring, pick up on knitting needles to work in magic loop method.
Final repeating motif will be k3, p2.
Inc every other row until the repeating motif is complete, then keep knitting to desired length.

Fits great. Would do it bottom-up next time (casting on with jumbo needles) because decreases look better and the crochet crown had a dorky ring.
