Izzy’s Pussycat hat for the march on DC!

Size: Izzy’s head circumference at 9 mo: 17.5”
Making this for 18” so it will last through the winter
~126 sts.

Machine knit on the Elna with hand knit ear flaps.

Shortened: The above was way too tall and quite roomy in September. In March it was still to tall. Frogged the top down to size, about to the bottom of the previous ears, and seamed it back up. Perfect!

Earflap mod: Used leftover from frogging top height. Picked up 4” ea side, 1”:3” front:back of side. On vacay at the march on DC w/o all my needles so used smallest in my Addi Click set. Continued rib pattern, decreasing both sides about ever other row or something. Not enough for i-cord on both sides so I made a hole on one to tie the cord to. Perf!
