Normally, I prefer to knit.
But when my idea pool goes dry and nothing seems to be working out on my needles, these shawls are a sort of “Palate Cleanser” for my creativity.
This pattern is etched in my heart and my brain, because
this type of shawl was the first thing that my Grandmother taught me to crochet, when I was 8 years old.

I cannot measure how many yards of fingering scrap that was used, so I base the yardage on how many yards of Lace yarn was carried along.
