Started this project with two shades of green yarn from a ripple afghan that I frogged (and some teal that I had from a previous project- decided to finally try this pattern after seeing it on Pinterest. The after making a few blocks, the coloring and pattern reminded me of a peacock’s tail feathers when they are spread out.

My blocks are coming out to 10” instead of 12”, so I am thinking since I want a big, snuggly blanket, I will do 100 blocks, 10 x 10
