Had one made and given by my Nan but she got lost in a house move so I really want to recreate her. I am knitting her left-handed for team Southpaws United!

I wounded my left index finger pretty badly on the first day of the Ravellenic Games while moving stuff in the garage so this is being knitted while I sport a fetching bandage.

Really pleased with the Sirdar double crepe yarn I got for the white and aqua parts, wasn’t too sure when I got it but it was the only thing I could find with the exact colour I wanted for her clothing, and I got the white in the same yarn to keep it consistent. It really knits up with a nice look for this project.

My daughter has now decided she wants her when she’s done, the original one was hers but initially she wasn’t interested (she’s 16!). Now she sees her developing she really wants her back - sweet :-)
