A lovely soft wool, perfect for a piece worn close to the neck. The colour was just right for this beloved Christmas flower. The lace work is easy to do but creates not only an attractive design, but the finished garment rests flatteringly on the shoulders, with fine scallops to frame the jawline. It worked up surprisingly quickly, is cozy as well as pretty, and I’m informed was all together a most satisfactory gift.
