Cast On
Using the instructions from Lara Neel’s “Sock Architecture” for medium wedge toe. Start with 16 stitches, increase to 36, alternate round increase to 72. End with knit row.

Foot
80 rounds of Board Shorts perfectly ends just before a brown stripe, and is the 9” I need.

Fish Lips Kiss Heel
When finishing the FLK Heel, slide 2 twin stitches to the left needle in order to pick back up with the Board Shorts where I left off.

Leg
90 rounds, ending after teal stripe. Then 1 more round of stockinette to establish the yellow all the way around before switching to 1x1 ribbing. 5 rounds of 1x1 ribbing, which will complete the yellow and fully establish a round of the darker yellow/orange. Switch to contrasting yarn for rest of cuff. 10 rounds of 1x1 ribbing, then bind off using the JSSO bind of variation as described in the Fergus socks pattern.
