I will start this on my birthday (March 12). I will cast on 38 stitches since I am turning 38. I will do a seed stitch border, garter stitch for the body, and seed stitch for weekends, holidays, and vacations. I will use the Bare for the border and between months.

3/12/15-Cast on 38. I did 4 rows of border in garter and today’s high temp in seed stitch! It is 4 1/4” wide.

3/15/15-I decided the Cottonish was just too thick.I pulled it out, and replaced it with Lion Brand Bonbons cotton in yellow. I bought a number of packages so that I would have enough. The yellow is brighter, but it doesn’t change the gauge so much!

Things I would do differently next time: I would use prettier colors for the 80s (maybe just eliminate the yellow and brown since Florida’s highs never reached the lower temps). Otherwise this was fun!
