This yarn has tried to be socks twice before. Hopefully third time is the charm! DH doesn’t get many pairs of socks because knitting big socks takes forever and then there is a second sock!

I cast on 24 stitches on size 0 needles. I am doing the size large. DH’s feet are 11 1/4” long and have a 10” circumference.

3/6/15-Knit all the way to end of the toe increases. Realized it looked much too small. Realized that the knitting was much tighter than the swatch in the round. Getting 12 sts/in instead of 9. Considered just increasing up to the largest size, but decided that I wouldn’t be happy with the very pointy toe. Frogged back and recast on with larger needles. This yarn just might be cursed!

3/24/15-Finished the first sock. I did a 1x1 twisted rib, and I used Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind off.

3/26/15- Started second sock. The striping is very different! I like it so much better.
