Or with 1x1 ribbing at waist only and then just knitting all around with increasing rows as pattern.

My gauge in 1x1 ribbing: 20 sts = 5.5 cm
My waist at bellybutton: around 90 cm
This means I would have to cast on 327 stitches. Because the ribbing is stretchy and this is belly measurement after Christmas, I’ll start by casting on 200 and go from there.
