Train project.
Using 4.0mm hook for dc sections and 5.5mm for crocodile stitch sections.
Will pair it with some crocodile stitch mittens.
Tried to make rounds with multiples of 12 stitches but it was too flat. Following pattern with multiples of 8.
I started this project because I needed a small project to make on the train to work. The bamboo yarn for my summer top to match my new pink skirt has arrived so I’m putting this on hold for now.
18/02/17 - Summer top all done, back to my hoodie!
I should have made my rounds in multiples of 6 instead of 8 as the pattern states (probably due to my yarn substitution). My hoodie was a bit too big and too flat. Braided 15 strings of yarn 4x the size of the hoodie edge and intertwined it over the v-stitches and under the crocodile stitches. This did the trick, it’s looking quite nice!
