This would definitely suit my morbido alpaca yarn. Long sleeves with a quirky button :)
My gauge is for 4 cm.
Casting on 130 sts to make it around 46 cm wide.
Dividing at row 7: 24sts - 20 sts - 42 sts - 20 sts - 24 sts
(or in cm 7.5-7-15-7-7.5)
Repeat increase rows until there are 31 cm between markers (70 sts).
71 sts for sleeves (picked up 1 sts frm underarm).
Knitted sleeves until 32 cm long from underarm seam.
Increase row 1: make 1 every 7 sts (81 sts).
knit all around
Increase row 2: make 1 every 8 sts (91 sts).
Continue in horseshoe lace stitch

Made 2 sets as pattern and then worked with increases as in the picture (4 horseshoe row sets in total). Final sleeve length measured from armpit is 40.5 cm.
