I don’t know when I will actually make this or if I ever will but i bought the pattern and started the Ravelry project placeholder for the principle of it. If you follow Casapinka, you probably know what I’m talking about.
Admitting to the atrocities committed in the past is the first step for healing and not repeating them in the future (which, unfortunately, still happen). There are many “black wall streets” in Portuguese and Australian history as well that we should all feel shame about. The rightousness of the white privilege is deeply rooted within our society and needs to be called out, pulled out and eradicated like the toxic weed that it is.
