Using cubics dpns 6.0mm/20cm gauge is only 0.5 cm off, which is much closer than using circulars (gauge was smaller). Working only with 1 strand, normal knitting (still can’t work my way around the intertwined knitting). It’s looking much nicer than worked with 2 strands!!!
Started with 6 knitted rows, continued as pattern.
Knitted 50 rows after heel shaping. Measuring around 24cm from back of heel.

I was a little bit skeptic but these look amazing after felting! They do shrink a lot so another 10 rows in length wouldn’t hurt, but I was able to stretch them by hand to the size I wanted. They were also quite wide (I think they shrink more in length than in width with felting), so next time might make the medium size and increase the length. A must do again for sure!
