Inspired by referenced designs but pattern is my own.
Worked bottom up
Gauge for cable area is 34 sts = 16cm.
Cast on 178 sts - 45 sts right front, PM, 88 sts back, PM, 45 sts left front.
Work ribbing k3 p2 for 10 cm(?) with 3.5mm needles.
Ribbing continues in the front forming a triangle, at the back start cables with 4.5mm needles.
V neck with buttonhole band and shawl neckline worked afterwards.
Cabled sleeves worked in the round.

Worked 28 cm until starting underarms.
Count 45sts-pm-88sts-pm-45sts
Leave 3 sts on each side of marker for underarms. Start decreasing for armholes: work pattern for 42 sts, k2tg, k1, sm, k1, ssk, continue pattern. Repeat for other armhole.
At the same time, decrease front opening: k1, ssk, continue pattern to last 3 sts, k2tg, k1.
Remember: k2tg is right leaning, ssk is left leaning.

Worked front right for 19 cm ending on row 34 of pattern. Bind off leaving long tail. Put stitches on hold.
Proceed to back section.

Picked up 106 sts along front right with 3.5mm needles.
Decrease 1 st (k2tg) every rs row at neck edge.
On row 7, make buttonholes: ssk, cast on 2, k2tg. Repeat every 15 sts. 5 buttonholes in total.
Cast off on row 11.

Neckline:
Cast on 100
Pick up and knit 15 sts on the side of the neck, knit xx sts from holder, pick up and knit 15 sts on other side of neck, cast on 100.

56 sts around for sleeves. 1 pattern repeat starting at row 9 with twist and mid top.
02-06-2024
Worked sleeve round 5 pattern repeats until row after cable crossover. Then decrease row: k, k2tg, repeat around until last 2 sts, k2 - 40 sts.
Chane to smaller needles and work 3x2 ribbing.

Cast off sleeve after 28 ribbing rounds because I’m concerned I won’t have enough yarn for the second sleeve

Had to reduce sleeve ribbing to 20 rows (the yarn chicken won! Lol). It’s done! Needs a bath, a stretch and some buttons!
