Hem- provisional cast on 186 stitches. Knit 7 rounds, 1 round purl, 7 rounds knit. Remove waste yarn and knit bottom edge together with next row. Knit 14 more rounds and begin pattern from change to larger needle.

Worked fronts and back at the same time. 3 needle bind off on shoulders.

Knitting sleeves onto the body by picking up 55 stitches around armhole and working cap shaping in short rows, backwards.

Lengthening sleeves to about 10 inches. Decreasing every 12th row.

Knit sleeve to 10”. Decrease one stitch, 44 stitches, knit 12 rows of ribbing using smaller needles. Used Jenny’s Surprisingly stretchy Bind Off.

Finished as we got to the Redwood Forest and it seemed like the perfect background for this one.
