I’m really happy with how it turned out. It’s really cute. Please don’t mind the - just woke up from my nap- look that she has in the pictures. I had just finished it and couldn’t wait to get it on her!

Feb. 24th - Finished… I used just 2 balls of knit shine.. so I could have used the blue after all! Oh well. I think I’ll return the balls of red I have left.

Feb 22nd - started the ruffle edging on the 1st sleeve. My work on the underarm is a little messy.. hopefully the secone one will be tidier. I’m having to improvise my DPN as for some reason when I bought these one of the set of 4 was a different size! So I am using a short circular needle as my 4th DPN.. it’s a little bit of a pain but it’s working. I did look around for more DPN but it seems all the LYS and complaining about their lack of supplies from PONY and the must awaited online Pony store is still not open. I’m also using a 3.75mm needle instead of the 3.5mm DPN because I don’t have 3.5s.. though I doubt it will really matter that much for the 4 rows of garter sts. around the arms.

Feb. 21st - Stayed up way too late but finished the body! Those last rows of ruffles were really really really long!

Feb. 20th - picked up stitches all the way around. Am working row 9 of the ruffle edge on the body.

Feb. 17th - Got in a few hours today. Starting the front shaping. Finished 1st ball.

Feb. 16th - about an inch passed the faux belt! Still on the 1st ball of yarn. Anaiah is sick so I’m not getting that much time to work on things.. thankfully this pattern is easy to put down and pick back up.

I broke down and bought yarn.. so much for knitting from stash first. Just didn’t want to risk running out mid project.
