Notes

Use remnant after Foolproof for these socks…

Note: Took 15g of the Koigu to get from start to the end of the 6” that delineates the cuff and leg.

Will use the remaining 17g to make striped socks (including Tosh sock and Koigu in light blue)

Of all Koigu I’ve bought (and that’s quite a bit), this has worn the worst. It has pilled and felted (I made socks with it) and lost its shape. I’ve had lots of issues with Koigu and socks - to the extent that I will not buy it for sock-making any longer.

Koigu for socks never works - it either pills, felts, loses shape or gets holes almost immediately. But you never know how it’s going to mess up.

At this point M is wearing them so I don’t suppose I’ll get them back till they’re ready for the rubbish (which should be pretty soon).

  1. Totally inconsistent (dye sometimes runs, wool sometimes felts)
  2. Good stitch definition
