One sock used @19g of the Regia in Relax (leg and body of foot). Additionally, one of this sock uses 18g of the Midnight Blue (but this would be less if I didn’t use it for the top of the gusset (i.e. if I only used it for the heel part of the sock - and toe and cuff). I think, then, it would use about 15g per sock. In this instance, the contrast colour (for the leg and foot) would require 22g per sock.

Should have 64 g of the midnight blue left - @8-10 g less than what I’d need to make a completely blue pair of socks. Use it with the remaining 11g of Regia in for the next pair and ALL the yarn should be used up!

Turns out the toe of a sock takes @3.5 g of fingering yarn (maybe slightly more of the Regia than the Ancient Arts (which is a bit more robust). As I have 64g of Ancient Arts left, and 11g of the Regia, I’m going to make my next version all blue except for the toes which will be made of the Regia in Stone colourway.

This is the first pair of socks I’ve given to Scott. Turns out that these socks knitted up quite large (and I accidentally made the heel deeper than usual) so they fit him well.
