Notes

Use the 64g of this yarn remaining with the 11g of Regia in Relax colourway remaining to make this pair of socks.

Finished with just enough of each yarn left to darn 2 pairs of socks (2g Midnight, 5g Regia).

I knit these 2 at a time on one circular needle and I have to say that I did NOT enjoy the experience. What I really liked: Having 2 socks finished at the same time AND knowing that they’re exactly the same size. Exactly.

What I didn’t like was the fussiness of using strings of yarn (constant tangle no matter what my technique for avoiding that). I also found it cumbersome.

I finished the final half of each toe decrease section (final 20 rows) separately - i.e. I took one sock off the needles and worked each individually. I couldn’t continue the decreases because I couldn’t access one side of each sock to bring the stitches together for the decreases (hard to explain). Next time I’ll have to position the socks on the needles such that I have 9 stitches on either side of each orange marker (the side seam edge). I’m sure I could have figured out how to fix this (if I’d been willing to do a bit of research) but I couldn’t be bothered. The minute I started knitting the socks individually, the process became much more pleasant - lighter on the needles, no tangles, less fuss in terms of magic loop maneuvering.

Will not be doing 2 socks at a time on a regular basis. Won’t travel well, for example. And it doesn’t save enough time to warrant.
