Notes

You’ll likely need 17 g of the navy Cascade to do each sock (because you only have 34g left of the Minveville- 17 g per sock).

I used the US 1 needle (vs US 0) because the Mineville is quite a bit more robust fingering than the Cascade Heritage.

19-05-2018

Used 10 g of the Mineville on the toe and heel portions of the first sock. So I should have 15g of the Mineville left AFTER finishing the 2nd of these socks.

With 15g of the Mineville, I should be able to get the toe and heel for another pair (but I’ll need to do ONLY the final 2 inches - toe decrease section - to ensure that I won’t run out. This means, for the next pair, I should omit the 4-5 rows of straight knitting, in this yarn, prior to starting the decreases. It also means I should start the toe decreases at 7”.

At the end of this sock - I have 84g of the Cascade Heritage left (enough to make a pair of socks - though it’s more fun to use up stash for heels and toe, given that navy is a bit dull on its own). I also have 16g of the Mineville left.
