Notes

Work MC 20R rib, MC 11R stockinette, CC1 5R stockinette, CC2 5R stockinette, CC1 5R stockinette, MC 28R

Work heel.

Make the foot longer than normal in the event that this felts - 5.3” - 60R. Then begin the to decreases.

I opted to do the heel on the second sock in the dark pink because I may be short on the Oyster shade, having opted to stripe on the leg of each sock. Didn’t consider that when I picked the yarn and the Oyster yarn listed above comes in 2 dye lots (just only made one page). So I only have 3g left of one of the dye lots which I’m going to use for darning. I listed this as 12g used but it was actually 9g plus the darning remainder of 3g.

Apparently, the FLK heel in slender yarn takes up 4g.

For some reason this pattern page indicates I’ve got 29g of the indigo yarn left but that’s wrong. The stash page has it correctly at 38g remaining.

KristinM100's adjectives for this yarn
  1. Beautifully dyed
  2. Very sturdy (even though I'd call this a light fingering)
  3. There's a lot of lanolin in the yarn and it's quite tightly spun and rustic, so there's more friction than you might imagine. Could be easier on arthritic hands but it does keep one's hands soft!

KristinM100's adjectives for this yarn
  1. Beautifully, naturally dyed
  2. Seems quite strong (but wear will tell)
  3. While I can feel the energy in this yarn, it's not easy on the hands. The yarn doesn't slip on the needles (even metal ones). As such, it can't be my go-to yarn but I will knit with it sometimes.
