20R 2x2 rib MC
11R MC
5R CC1
5R CC2
5R CC1
29R MC (6” leg)

FLK heel - 11 / 8 / 11 - CC1

Foot: Knit foot longer than usual - till 5.5 or even 5.75 to see if this gives better fit.

Work ~63R MC (5.5” from back of heel) Update: Note that with this yarn it’s 64R

At ~3.5” or 40R start using the nylon provided with the MC to reinforce the bottom of the foot. This got me to 4R before the toe, given that I didn’t use a contrast stripe before the toe.

Then at end of R63 work 5R CC2 (5.75” from back of heel) Update - I was short on contrast yarn and amazingly I had enough of the MC to get me to 69R or 5.75” before starting the toes.

Toe CC1

About Using the 50g Jawoll Skeins: If you use 3 contrast stripes in the leg and a contrast colour for heel and toe, then you should be able to get a pair of socks from one ball (50g). You should have enough of the nylon to get you from 3.5” length (40R) to 5.75” length (69R)

For future reference: The supplementary nylon was 4.7g and the spool that it was wound onto was 2.8g

KristinM100's adjectives for this yarn
  1. Very slippery and superwash-y, to the extent that it was tricky to knit with
  2. The ball was quite underweight as I believe the 50g includes the nylon yardage, the spool of which weighs almost 3g
  3. If the sock wears better than most, then I can see myself using this in future. I do like that there's a 50g put up
