Notes

Make this version with one strand of worsted vs 2 strands of fingering…

22-09-2019

Though my gauge with this yarn on US7 appears to be smaller than recommended for the 8 (21st in 4” vs the proposed 19st in 4”). I’ll go up to the US8 (as per last version), for the body portion… It also appears that I get 26R in 4” on the US7.

27-09-2019

US 8 - for body - pre-blocked gauge is 19 st and 22R in 4” so pretty well spot on - though I haven’t swatched this so I don’t know how the yarn will block out…

When you next make this, start with the US8 needle, do 7” (vs 6.5”) and block the neck a bit wider so that it will drape like a cowl - and will resist rolling.
