Xmas knitting x 1

This hat is totally adorable. I cast on using size 8 needles (not 9) and used 80 stitches instead of 88 (it’s an 8 stitch repeat) for a tinier version of this cap for my 9 y/o niece with the tiniest head. Did 2 x 12-row repeat.

I’ve never worked with Madeline Tosh yarn before and it’s deceptively awesome. Starts out seeming bland, but wow, it’s a lovely, springy yarn.
