My hatred of small diameter stranded colour work is alive and well (not that I’ve ever done this before). It’s going to be a long time till I try doing it again. I’m sticking to projects that don’t require magic loop AND fair isle.

This pattern is very well written and designed but I am having a really unpleasant time and I can’t wait to be done with these.

It’s rare that I put a project down because I dislike it but the colourwork on this one was so strangely unpleasant to accomplish that I knit 7 other projects before returning to it - and only because it’s thwarting me by sitting there. Decided to just finish the sock (from the point when the leg colourwork ends) with my own pattern. Couldn’t be bothered to pay any more attention to a pattern.
