To clarify - started with 100g of the Koigu and used 70g for the sweater - @245 yards of yarn for the newborn size…

I feel that size US 5 needles for fingering yarn is too holey. I’d use a size 3 or 4 if I were to make this again (for body needles). Means I’d need to make a bigger size to get a newborn sweater.

Not thrilled with the method for knitting the sleeves onto the body. There are no short rows to shape the sleeve cap so the sleeves stick out like a tube. I’m sure it won’t be noticeable when worn but I wouldn’t make a sleeve like that for a sweater that I’d wear so I don’t like the idea that this instruction was kind of phoned in (or designed to make it very easy). As the pattern does adult sizes, I think it’s a really weak point.
