Nov 15:The goal is to make 2 of these - one for my father and one for my husband.

I’ve added 2 stitches to the garter edging on either side (i.e. 30 stitches instead of 26) as the finished versions look rather narrow (6 inches). 4 more stitches should yield about another inch (7 inch width). I intend to add those stitches to the garter edging. Here’s hoping that works…

Nov 17:Is it just me, or is knitting long scarves kind of boring?

The Rowan Creative Focus is to scratchy for my liking, though it does block very nicely and softens in the process. The Superwash is a delight.

Will likely not be making this, or any other long, flat scarf, anytime soon. Too much tedium.
