I started doing the ribbing in a US4 but it was too tight and firm so I switched to a US 6 as soon as I finished the initial ribbing.

I am definitely new at this and my yarn carrying leaves much to be desired. At one point lost a stitch (I believe I must have accidentally K2toged at some point so I had to add in a stitch and the vertical line where everything joins / rolls up is a bit of an off kilter mess. Here’s hoping I improve next time - though I’m quite happy with the finished result as, with a bit of blocking, I sense it’s going to work out alright.

This is a snug cowl - the kind I prefer.
