The pattern calls for sport, but I’m using fingering, and my fingering is light enough that I felt I needed to go down to a US4 for a nice fabric. I will be repeating Chart E an extra time to make a larger shawl.

On the pick-up row of the transition, I divide it into two actions. First I pick-up the loops along the sides of the Upper Triangle while counting, and placing any markers. Then I do the YO, k1 across without having to keep count.
