Notes

C1 = ITW Pakokku Sock - Waiting in the Wings
C2 = Fiber Optic Foot Notes - Citron

I knit left handed from the written, so any asymmetry will be flipped.

Clue 1

Chart A - C1
Watch row 13, the pattern shifts.

Chart B - C1
Watch rows 1 and 9, the pattern shifts.

Chart C - C1
Finishes out the center triangle ready for the I-cord BO.

I-cord BO - C1
Usually I only go up 1 needle size when Romi says to go up 2 for this type of BO, but it felt tight, so I pulled it out and went up the 2 sizes Romi calls for.

Transition - C1
Did it in 2 steps. Pick up and count all of the YO from the edge. Then knit the row.

Clue 2

Chart D - C1, C2
Color 2!!!

This chart contains slipped stitches. Make sure your floats are not tight.
You will only ever use one color at a time.
The chart starts with C2.

You will add repeats on row 13.

Watch your center stitch. It is sometimes different.

Chart E - C1
Lace!

In the written, repeats are added on rows 5 and 7.

Clue 3

Chart F - C1
An extension of the lace in Chart E.

Chart G - C1, C2
Similar to Chart D.

In the written you will add repeats on rows 5, 11, and 15.

Watch the center stitches, they are not all the same.

Clue 4

Chart H - C2
On row 3 I found using repeat markers on every repeat especially handy to keep track of the repeats. After row 7 or so the pattern was established enough that I didn’t need most of them anymore.

For the written, repeats are added on rows 5, 13 and 15.

Clue 5

Chart I - C2
The rows are getting long.

Row 7 starts a shift in the pattern, and I kept catching myself missing half the YOs.

Chart J - C2
Row 5 is an increase row.

Row 6 is the BO.

Before the BO I had 19.5 grams left.

Yarn Usage
Start
C1 - 107.9 grams
C2 - 119.4 grams

Chart A - C1 - 106.2 grams
Chart B1 - C1 - 103.2 grams
Chart B2 - C1 - 100 grams
Chart B3 - C1 - 94.5 grams
Chart B4 - C1 - 86.9 grams
Chart C - C1 - 82.2 grams
BO - C1 - 80.3 grams
Transition - C1 - 78.8 grams

Chart D - C1 - 65.5 grams
- C2 - 110.7 grams
Chart E - C1 - 55.0 grams

Chart F - C1 - 43.4 grams
Chart G - C1 - 26.5 grams
-C2 - 97.4 grams

Chart H - C2 - 56.2 grams

Chart I - C2 - 33.8 grams
Chart J - C2 - 10.3 grams

As per the yarn pages the Fiber Optic yarn is 420 yards/114 grams and the ITW yarn is 460 yards/100 grams, so the green yarn is definitely a heavier yarn.

Used a total of:
C1 - 81.4 grams - 374.4 yards
C2 - 109.4 grams - 401.9 yards
