Fun little sleep socks!

I basically used a single “color”. One end of the skein was very red/orange.

Cast On
Knowing that my figure 8 cast on is usually loose, I cast on with the smaller needle and the switched immediately to the larger ones.

Chart A
Using this as a swatch, I knit the first 4 rounds 6 times.

This is where all of the increases happen.

Chart B
The cables aren’t hard, but I never memorized them.

The transitional braid
Use the smaller needle.
When knitting the second stitch on the needle, go behind the first stitch.

Two Color Section
Change back to the larger needle
I had to re-knit my second heel because I forgot this.

After wearing these for a bit, I think on subsequent pairs I will stay on the smaller needles until after the slip stitch row.

I did a 3 needle bind off.

Ankle
I used the C1 end of my yarn.

Depending on sizing my feet are a US womens 10 or 11, and they are wide.

I could see these done in. 3 colors. One for the foot, one for the heel stripes, and one for the i-cord bind off.
