Pattern called for 2 strands of a thinner yarn, but the worsted weight cotton worked fine. I made the headband 35 cm long then added the elastic band for stretch. I did not follow the pattern for the flowers. I made simple flowers as follows: Magic circle, slip stitch in circle, ch 3, 2 dc in circle(one petal made), repeat for 4 more petals, slip stitch to first chain of first petal, tie off.
