Basic chevron pattern. Multiples of 23 + 22.
I chained 252. All in back loop sc. 10 sc between peaks and valleys. Peaks 3sc in same stitch, valleys skip 2 stitches.

I purchased 12 skeins. Not sure if this enough, but will be able to get a better estimate after I complete one skein. I purchased 3 more skeins to be on the safe side.

1/11/17 Completed 40 rows. Width is approx. 46” and length for 40 rows is approx. 14”. I’m estimating around 200 rows total for about 70” length. At 17 rows per skein, 12 skeins should be about right. I will need to purchase at least one more skein for the fringe, though.

1/20/17 Finished 4th skein, starting on 5th skein.

1/28/17 Finished 5th skein. width is keeping at 46”. Length is 28”. (Peak to valley) 82 rows. May need slightly more than 200 rows to get 70” length.

2/4/18 Finished 7th skein, starting on 8th. The end is in sight. I have a better estimate now. I want the finished afghan to be 46” x 72”. I am getting about 16 rows per skein (not 17) and 30 rows = 10”. 13.5 skeins and 216 rows should be about right for 72”.

2/11/18 Finished 8th skein started 9th. 131 rows.

2/19/18 Finished 10th skein, started on 11th. 164 rows.

3/18/18 All finished except for weaving in ends and adding tassels. 13 skeins used so far. Measures 43” x 75” (peak to valley)
