Notes

This is a well written easy to follow pattern with videos included! I did make a few modifications as suggested by some of the reviewers. For the base skirt, I followed pattern as written (size 2) through row 5 and then, I alternated dc rows with blo sc rows. Increased on row 7 (row 8 of pattern) as written, and on row 11 (row 14 of pattern) For this increase, I increased in every 8th stitch.(99 stitches total in this round) I crocheted 23 total rows.

Adding the ruffle yarn on 1st 6 blo sc rounds (from the bottom up) Did not add ruffle to the top 4 blo sc rounds as the skirt was getting pretty heavy.

I followed the size 2, although my granddaughter is 5. She is thin and I crochet loosely, so the beginning chain of 66 worked with enough room to pull up over her hips. I crocheted a total of 23 rounds for the length, which would be 32 rounds if following pattern as written.
