I used a 5.5mm hook for the squares and border and a 6mm hook for joining the squares.

I made some slight modifications: in round 3, I replaced the ext dc with a treble, on either side of the treble I did dc 2 tog instead of dc 2, and I did ch 2 in the corners instead of ch 1.
In round 4 I did ch 2 instead of ch 1 in the corners
I added an additional round (round 5) done the same as round 4.

Making blanket 7 x 10 squares. The squares are about 6”.
