Row 1: hdc in 3rd ch from hook and across to end, turn (38)
Row 2: ch 3, hdc in same stitch, hdc 2 tog (yo insert hook in next stitch, yo and pull up a loop, insert hook in next stitch, yo and pull up a loop, yo and pull through all 4 loops), hdc in each stitch across to last stitches, 2 hdc in next to last stitch, hdc in last stitch, turn (38)
Row 3: ch 3, hdc in same stitch, 2 hdc in next stitch, hdc in each stitch to last 3 stitches, second and next to last stitches hdc 2 tog, hdc in last stitch, turn
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until desired length. I made mine about 68” long not including tassels.

Tassels: For each tassel I wrapped yarn around a clipboard 12 times and cut one end. After attaching to scarf, I trimmed them to desired length.
