Earflaps: Mark desired area for earflaps (6 stitches across)

Braids: Each braid cut 3 strands 34” long double over, attach to earflap and braid.
Hat height: 9” circumference: 20”
Ear flap: 5 1/4” across 3 1/2” height Tails 8” long (cut 3 strands to 32” for each flap, Fold in half, tie on and braid)

Note: The wrong side of the sc is the right side of the hat.
Next I would add one or two more rounds before adding earflaps.
