Love, love, love this pattern from Delia Creates! (www.deliacreates.com/crocheted-fur-scarf-free-pattern-2/) Pattern not on Ravelry, but I would give it 5 stars! Although it is just simple stitches, I would have never thought to use this yarn.

I used 3 skeins of Lion Brand Pelt in Fisher. 21 rounds (abt) by 48 stitches. (20 rounds hdc, one round sc.) Finished measurements: 28” circumference x 11” height. I crochet on the loose side, so my cowl took one less skein than the pattern calls for to get the desired measurements.

Frogged first attempt about 3 rows in. Somehow I twisted it. Second attempt worked perfectly. After a few rounds, I got the hang of feeling for the stitch placement with my fingers rather than seeing where the stitches go. I would suggest making sure your beginning chain is not too tight, and it was helpful for me to use a stitch marker in the first stitch of each round. I also made sure to keep count of the stitches in each round.
