The head and body were easy, however I must have done something wrong because I have one less segment than pictured in the pattern. Looks perfectly fine, though.

The wings were another story. I believe the instructions are correct, I was just having trouble interpreting them. More photos would have been a big help to me. Specifically how the wings are bordered and the attachment of the wings. I misunderstood the directions and and attached the left and right wings together down the middle, but the sides don’t attach to each other, but to the band separately. I was still able to attach the wings to the band, but they were probably a bit more bulky than intended due to joining together before joining to band. All user error though. I should have been a little more thorough in reading instructions, but I still believe some areas were a little confusing and more photos would have helped me. I tend to better when patterns have instructions in more than one way, like written and chart, or written and photo.

The result is very cute and I will probably make more. The book is wonderfully done and worth the price!
