Daughter sends me pic of hat on Amazon. “Mom can you make this for my friend’s birthday?” Of course I say yes and of course it’s a little more work than I thought. That’s ok though, I’m just happy crochet is in style again!

5.5 mm hook for hat. Makes a loose fitting hat. Might try one with a 5 mm hook next time.
4mm hook for cherry appliqués.
