I used the Baby’s Best Bumpy Blanket pattern, but altered as follows. I used a 6.0 mm (J) hook and 3 colors of Worsted weight cotton yarn. I chained 76 to start and crocheted 48 rows. I did 3 rows pink, 3 rows pistache, 3 rows buttercup, and repeated until I had 16 stripes (48 rows). I made a simple two row border (round 1 in pistache, round 2 in buttercup): sc, ch 3, sc in same stitch, skip 2 stitches, repeat. For the corners I added an extra chain and down the sides, I made 2 groups of sc, ch 3, sc, for every 3 rows. The second round I followed same pattern, but placed the stitches in the ch 3 space from previous round. Finished size of blanket is approx. 24” x 28”. I think I read pattern wrong and placed my sc, dc, dc groups in the second dc of the group from the previous row in stead of in the sc. Worked out fine, though.
