Love this pattern! I was so anxious to complete it that I didn’t take the time to look up the loop stitch. I just cut the yarn into same lengths and tied on fringe instead. I have since looked up the technique and it it looks pretty simple to do. First time attempting slip stitch surface crochet. Easy peasy!

I made these for my 3 year old granddaughter in the 12-24 month size, because I crochet on the loose side.

I just used some scrap acrylic yarn I had. Didn’t keep the labels. I will add a photo of my granddaughter wearing them when I get a chance. :)
