May 13, Well here goes. My first attempt at a sweater. Completed rows 1-91. All of back and a little part of front. So far pattern is very easy to follow. May 14, Finished front and seamed sides. Just need sleeves, collar and belt to finish. I have realized I have a hard time keeping my tension even in hdc stitches. it really shows where my tension gets a little loose in my opinion. This is for my daughter and I don’t think she will notice, but it’s really obvious to me. Other than that, I’m happy with the project so far and no problems with the instructions so far. May 18, finished sleeves. May 21, finished collar. May 22, finished belt. I did not follow pattern for belt. I made the belt with rows of hdc. I also did not change colors on the collar as my daughter wanted the whole sweater in one color. Now to weave in ends and project will be complete. May 24, ends woven in. All done! :)
